LES ICONIQUES: OVER 20 YEARS OF REPORTING IN A SINGLE COLLECTION
More than 20 years ago, Laurent Baheux, then a sports photojournalist, set foot on African soil for the first time in search of wildlife and an approach to photography that was outside the standards imposed by journalism. This unexpected turn of events led him, intuitively and passionately, to Africa, the Arctic, the American West and the French countryside.
In a 2002-2024 retrospective, this collection brings together a selection of images that have marked his history and his career as an artist: from the emblematic lions of the savannah, to the unforgettable bear cubs of the Far North, the charismatic gorillas, the fragile foxes and the moving little piglets, Laurent reminds us just how close we all are.
Every Thursday, I dive into my memories and take you on safari: I've decided to reveal the unique story behind one of my photographs.
Imagine yourself at my side, living these magical moments in the midst of majestic wild animals.
For me, these images are much more than just pictures; they are a testimony to raw beauty and wildlife, captured with all my sensibility.
Embark on a weekly journey where each photograph becomes an open door to the soul of nature and a celebration of our planet's treasures.
