Black and white is timeless: it purifies and sublime. This is Laurent’s artistic bias, which he has been practicing and distinguishing for over 20 years for another approach to wildlife photography. Playing with contrasts, Laurent adopted the approach and style of the great humanists. His shots are snapshots, made on the fly and in natural light, without artifice or studio, which capture the particularity of the atmospheres, scenes and subjects.
